![]() ![]() You know what solves that? Scissor switches. because that was the last time I used that switch :D I legit woke up my GF one floor below with my keyboard once. The suspense before going down, except it never stops. Granted, this is with MX Blue's which are loud AF, but still.Blue is like riding to the top of the rollercoaster in your little cart. I flipped his supremefx whatever sound on and enabled all the onboard sound chips abilities, no more resource drain. After some looking I realized what was happening. He apparently was using Voice cuz his mic didn't come with suppression. My kid was using one of those usb mics and it caused his gpu to run 3d clocks on the desktop. It doesn't do anything better than onboard sound fwiw. I realize it's kinda rich coming from someone who's on an XLR mic, but even with my old affordable Blue Snowball, the best results were without any of that noise suppression crap.Concur. Never bothered with RTX voice on mine, but a friend with a 2080 tried it and we couldn't hear any difference in quality. Well, as long as one has the brain cells to understand push-to-talk, isn't gaming in the middle of an auto repair shop, and has a mic that isn't from the dollar store. If so then this is just Nvidia's hyped-up version of Discord's shitty "noise suppression" feature that is better left off. So no difference in quality since they're not being used. ![]() TabascosauzI think the idea here is that the GPU appears to be no less burdened even when it's got tensor cores.
